On the Contact pay you can send me an email inquiry and  ask about individual online/virtual nutrition counseling. We can meet over Zoom or on the phone. My passion is helping people live a healthier life in ways that nutrition can help. I promise you there is no judgement from me, only encouragement and a solid knowledge base.

It is interesting to read the research and read about its applications in real life with real people. This is what I am sharing on these pages. The information has been helpful to many people. Some of the topics I have written about or will write about are listed here on the Home Page. I will add a new topic from time to time and add to existing topics occasionally, especially if there is new research pertaining to that topic. See the example below regarding iron.  The "articles" tab has a drop down menu of article titles.

Iron:  Iron deficiency anemia is quite common in children and adults. I will write a page with more detail on that soon. High iron foods are meats, especially red meats, beans and dark green leafy vegetables. Did you know that if you combine a food high in vitamin C, such as tomatoes, lemons, oranges, with a high iron food you will absorb 50% or more iron. This is easy to do. For instance, making a taco with meat (iron food)  and tomatoes (vitamin C food) or drink some pure orange juice along with iron fortified cereal.  You can also squeeze lemon juice over a dark green leafy salad to get the vitamn C and iron combination. Did you know that an iron skillet will impart iron to any food that is cooked in it?  It is another way to iron to your diet.  It is possible to increase your iron levels without supplements, however, your doctor may prescribe an iron supplement for a time to get your blood levels back to normal.

Nothing on these pages is medical advice, diagnosis, prevention, treatment, or cure of any disease, pain, deformity, injury, or physical or mental condition. And I do not state that any product or supplement might cure any disease, disorder or condition.  Always check with you doctor or practitioner with regards to any medical issue you may be experiencing.
